Instructing

Julia is a Level II PSIA Certified ski instructor and has instructed at Big Sky Resort and The Yellowstone Club in Montana as well as at Beaver Creek in Colorado. She is a passionate instructor who takes pride in instilling a love of the sport as well a strong understanding of fundamentals in her clients.

Backcountry

Julia is looking for snow year-round. She has completed her Rescue Fundamentals course and has her Avalanche Pro 1 certification through the American Avalanche Institute (AAI). She is currently pursuing her Ski Guide certification through the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA).

History

Julia grew up racing in Colorado, first skiing for the Winter Sports Club in Steamboat Springs and then for the Ski and Snowboard Club Vail as a junior and senior in high school. She graduated from the Vail Ski and Snowboard Academy in Minturn, CO.
